ArcGIS advantages
thorough understanding of spatial data, esy to use. personal, accurate, can be used for academic research or for fun.
ArcGIS disadvantages
the cost is high for subscriptions. anaog version may have greater reolaibility.
Garmen advantages
small and portable- therefore ideal. very precise.
Garmen disadvantages
doesnt have much fucntionality apart from location and altitude.
collector advantages
easy to use, reliable, accurate, detialed.
collector disadvantages
basic shapes aren’t very descirptive, GPS signal and wi-fi needed for it to work, which can fail in the field. subscription is expensive.
