Describe the torture method ‘flogging’
this is a tosture method where the victim would be publicly tied to a pillar-their hands bound, and then they would be whipped.
Describe the torture method ‘burning at the stake’
this was a torture method where a pile of dry wood with a stake at the centre would be created the victim would then be tied to the stake and then it would be set alite. It usually took about half an hour before the victim lost consciousness.

this was a torture method where the victim is tied down while some mechanical device tightens the ropes, stretching the victims body until the joints are dislocated. Continued pressure causes the limps to be torn off.

this was a torture method Where the victim would be bound to the rack, with his head lower than the rest of his body. The mouth would then be forced open and water would be forced into the mouth. The victim would risk suffocation if he did not ‘confess’.
