  • ferdinand and isabel got permission from pope to catholizize everyone (focus on mooors and jews)
  • church dosen’t recogize forced baptizm, they don thave power over non catholics (enough socail pressure to catch you if you are pretending to be catholic)

plot:

  • that land ppl dont wanna go to portugal
  • bad guy tries to rape lorencia then complains to council
  • town council is like nah bro you suck
  • isabella and ferdinand win
  • lorencia gets kidnapped and arrested: tells men to fight collects women to fight
  • the village kick commanders ass
  • no vilagers will confess to who killed the commander (they all just say the title of the play)
  • village stands against corruption HOORAY
  • ferdinand and isable pardon all the villagers

vega is kinda kissing ass to the government rn cant lie

kinda a feminist play cuz of lorencia

how the violation of women dishonours men. ok sure.
