Atonement means “Reparation for an offense or injury”
What is Reconciliation?
Making/accepting peace with God. From a relationship of enmity to one of friendship
What is Propitiation?
Christ’s death fully satisfied all teh righteous demands of God towards the sinner
What is Forgiveness (Remission)?
indicates a sending back or putting away
What is Redemption?
To pay a ransom price for someone/something
What is Regeneration?
The process by which God, through the 2nd/new birth gives the believer a new nature
What is Imputation?
An accounting term referring to adding/subtracting from an account
What are the 3 main imputations?
1.) Adams sin upon mankind
2.) Mankinds sin upon Christ
3.) Gods righteousness upon believer
What is Adoption?
Means “Placing of a son”
What is Justification?
The legal act where man’s status before God is changed for the good
What is Sanctification?
Means to be “Set apart” from evil, sin, and for good works
What are the 3 types of sanctification?
1.) Positional
2.) Experiential
3.) Ultimate
What is positional sanctification?
Our standing before God
What is Experiential Sanctification?
Varies according to daily life & experience, grows as the believer dedicates his life to God
What is Ulitmate Sanctification?
In teh future anticipates final transformation of the believer into the likeness of Christ
What is Glorification?
Refers to the final & Absolute physical, mental, and spiritual perfection of all believers
What are the three heavens?

What is the Atmospheric Heaven?
The sky. Home of birds and clouds
What is the Celestial Heaven?
Space. Home of stars, planets, etc.
What is Spiritual Heaven?
