Any questions?”
ECS Off on every T/O, Reduced power T/O when possible
Malfunction before V1:
Capt:”We call “Reject” or “Continue”. If Reject, retard both Power Levers to Ground Idle/Reverse and bring the plane to a complete stop”,
FO:”Take the yoke and call “Beta Lights” or “No Beta Light Left/Right”. Call 60kts, Advise ATC, Select Grd Ops, Set Gust Lock On, CTOT Off, Locate the Evacuation Checklist”,
Capt:”At full stop: I will consider to set the Parking Brake, Evaluate the situation, Call for the appropriate Drill and/or QRH, Advise In-Charge “Cabin Crew Standby” or if evacuation required: “Shut Down the Engines - Evacuation Checklist””
Malfunction after V1:
PF:”Engine fail, check power”, PNF:”Power checked, Positive rate”,
PF:”Gear Up, confirm Autocoarsen”, PNF:”Gear Up and confirm Positive or Negative Autocoarsen”,
PF:”if Negative Autocoarsen, call:”Engine Shutdown Drill” if Positive Autocoarsen, No action below Acceleration Altitude”, PNF:”Call “Acceleration Altitude””,
PF:”Half Bank-Alt. Accelerate towards Vclean, then call IAS-Flaps Up. And call:”Engine Shutdown Drill” if not done. Set MCP-After T/O Check”, PNF:”Call ATC”,
PF:”QRH engine failure, TESTRA, QRH OEI Checklist”
If Engine Failure between V1 and V2, maintain V2 to 400ft
If Engine Failure after V2, maintain the actual airspeed but not more V2+10 to 400ft
