Simple solubility rules
Most nitrate salts are soluble
Most alkali metals (Group1A) salts and amonium are soluble
Most chloride, bromide, iodine salts are soluble (except silver, lead and hercury (I))
Most sulfates salt are soluble (except BaSO4, PbSO4, Hg2SO4, CaSO4)
Most hydroxide are only slightly soluble (NaOH, KOH are soluble, Ba(OH)2, Ca(OH)2 are slightly soluble)
Most sulfide, carbonate, chromate and phosphate salts are only slightly soluble, (except those with amonium, then soluble)
