What does “social security” mean ?
–> it refers to welfare generally (money paid to ill people, to the elderly, the unemployed…)
–> in the US, it’s the name given to the government-sponsored pension system
(Aux EU, pas vraiment d’équivalent de la sécu, mais il y a Medicare, Medicaid et maintenant Obama care)
