Soft Tissue Neck Flashcards

1
Q

Soft tissue neck
Lateral position
Pt position?

A

°Clasp hands Behind Body & Rotate Shoulders Posteriorly As far as possible
↳ shoulders out of way from Neck (Sup mediastinum)

°Center Airway to midline of IR
(trachea lies in Coronal plane tht passes ~ midway between Jugular notch& Mid Coronal plane

° Center IR to Lvl of Laryngeal prominence
(upper airway)
or manubrium
(Larynx + sup. mediastinum)
