- Gentry: Same as nobility, but without the title.
- Yeomen: Men with small amounts of land.
- Tenant Farmers: Rented land to form and make money from.
- Landless and labouring poor: Basically slaves
- Vagrants and homeless: Disabled and homeless.

- Merchants: Buys and sells trade, businessmen
- Professionals
- Business owners
- Skilled craftsmen: Skilled men, apprentices for seven years then earn money.
- Unskilled and unemployed.

Role of privy council:
A
- Elizabeths most trusted advisors, nobility
- Gives advice on queens decisions.
- Met with the queen three times a week.

Role of parliament:
A
- Makes laws, queen has final say.
- Their laws can be passed or rejected by the queen.
- However, the queen has to work with them.

- Helps defend the country.
- Makes sure laws are carried out throughout the country.

-Oversee and deal with the law in each town/city.

- Can rule some legal cases, if it is unclear.
