Ex: On March 13, 1964 at about 3:30 am. a stalker repeatedly stabs Kitty Genovese outside her Queens apartment as she screams for help. Windows open and lights turn on. Many of her neighbors have heard her screams. But they all do nothing. leads to the bystander effect.
