What is the aim?
To investigate if there are differences between men and women in levels of obedience.
What is the independent variable?
The gender (male or female).
What is the dependent variable?
Levels of obedience as measured by the questionnare.
What is some extranous variables?
-Authoritaian personality/ personality differences.
-Other people in the room.
What is a null hypothesis?
There will not be a difference between men and women’s obedience levels.
What is a two-tailed hypothesis?
There will be a difference between men and women’s obedience levels.
What is a one-tailed hypothesis?
Males will have a higher level of obedience than females.
What type of sampleing is used?
Oppurtinity sampeling.
What are some strengths of the practical?
-Following all ethical issues so the study is crediable.
-Easy to gather a range of partipants- more generalisable.
What are some weaknesses of the practical?
-Oppurtunity sampleling can have shared characteristics.
-Social desirablity bias to make self seem good.

What is a conclusion for the practical?
Females have higher obedience levels than men.
