What is social learning theory
The idea that behaviour is learned from experience , but in a social context
What is vicarious reinforcement
The observation of the behaviour of others and the rewards and punishments received for that behaviour
What is identification
If the observer identifies with the role model i.e relates to the model in the same way eg : same age or gender
What is motivation
The will or desire to perform that behaviour( usually linked to vicarious reinforcement
What is attention
noticing and paying attention to the behaviour or the person the want to imitate
What is retention
Remembering the behaviour so they can do the same
What is reproduction
consideration of our own ability to complete the behaviour
