Bible teaches people should not place importance on becoming rich or favour of the rich
“Say to the poor man you sit on the floor by my feet” “have you not discriminated among yourselves”
The bible does imply that criminal justice should be fair
“Hate evil, love good, maintain justice in the courts”
It’s importance to serve others as Jesus provides food for the hungry crowd
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat” parable of the sheep and goats
People who follow want to help the poor and oppressed
“He sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners”
Response include:
Prayer= they ask God for help or guidance about what they should do
Treating people fairly= Christians aim to not discriminate against age, race, sex etc
Volunteering= work for places such as Amnesty International
