characterises people who hold traditional and conventional values

We live in a world of social hierarchies, more likely to be more prejudice towards those lower in social status

Openness - degree of curiosity and creativity (less prejudice)
Conscientiousness - organised and dependable (less prejudice)
Extraversion - energetic and outgoing (more prejudice)
Agreeableness - trusting and compassionate (more prejudice)
Neuroticism - sensitive and nervous (more prejudice)
Situational - social norms
an agreed/set way to behave in society. Those who do not follow social norms may have more prejudice projected onto them as they are not conforming with society.
Cultural - individualistic culture
emphasise on private self and individual autonomy and priority individual needs
Cultural - collectivist culture
emphasises needs of the group rather than the individual
Culture - multiculturalism
acceptance of multiple culture norms being used in a single area due to diversity of people there.
