What are schemas
mental scripts for events, people, situations that are believed to be reconstructed to fit an idealation
Accommodation
alter our schemas in order to fit the situation we are recalling
Confabulation
use our schemas to fill in gaps about the situation we are recalling
Omission
Miss out information that does not fit the schema you are recalling
