Q

Give 3 reasons why it is important to educate girls

A
  • An educated female can pass knowledge onto her child. She will also know how to look after her child better and seek medical help when necessary.
  • Women who are educated get married later and so will have less children therefore less mouths to feed and more money.
  • Education at secondary level and above will give her more job opportunities. An educated mother understands how to cook and provide a balanced diet for her offspring. Recognises the importance of education and so will pass this idea onto her child
