Fair and Equitable
Governed by rules that apply to everyone by taking into account individual needs and circumstances
Equality
The same status, rights and responsibilities for all the members of a society, group or family.
Equity
Equity is the quality of being fair and reasonable in a way that gives equal outcomes to everyone. i.e., people can be treated differently in order for them to have the same benefits, opportunities and consequences

The institutions and procedures for applying laws in a society
Validity
Reliability, based on a critical assessment of source, facts and bias
Community Service
Help in the community performed as part of a sentence, such as
assisting with a community clean-up or food bank.
Criminal Record
A permanent record of breaking the law, which is public information. A criminal record can bar you from some jobs, volunteer positions and travel to other countries.
Sentence
A consequence for a crime, such as imprisonment, determined by a court of law
Colonialism
The process of establishing colonies, in which a region is claimed and governed by a country from another part of the world
Rehabilitate
To instill positive behaviours and attitudes to return to a normal life
Restitution
The making of amends for wrong or injury done by giving an equivalent or compensation for loss, damage, or injury caused
Reintegrate
To make or be made into a whole again or to make part of again
