Q

Study on Self-Efficacy?

A

Bandura (1997) suggested two main ways self-efficacy is achieved.
Social modelling. You observe others succeeding at a task, and you are encouraged to believe that you can do the same. If you believe yourself to be similar to these role-models, the effect is greater.
Social persuasion. Encouragement increases self-efficacy as it assists the individual to overcome doubts. (However, the inverse is true- discouragement reduces self-efficacy).
