How can exercise prevent osteporosis?
Osteoporosis is a disease that causes bones to become weak and fragile. Doing regular weight bearing exercise can help to prevent it
How does regular exercise increase long-term health?
Regular exercise increases size and strength of heart therefore lowering chances of getting coronary heart disease in long-term
How can too much exercise have a negative effect on physical well-being?
Too much can lead to overtraining which therefore increases the chances of injury
How does alcohol effect physical activity?
Slows down reactions therefore decreasing performance levels as alertness drops

Having too much body composition as fat; men having more than 19 per cent of total body composition as fat and women over 26 per cent
Overweight
Having more weight than is considered healthy by medical professionals
Osteoporosis
A condition causing the bones to become brittle and fragile from loss of tissue, resulting from hormone changes, or a deficiency in calcium of Vitamin D.
Diabetes
A disease in which the body’s ability to produce or respond to the hormone insulin
High blood pressure
The pressure of the blood against the walls of the blood vessels, especially the arteries
