What is the ideal male body image?
Full head of hair, no body hair, muscular build, tall (6’), fine facial features, broad shoulders.

What are products that are advertised to us that can help change our appearances?
Shampoo, hair colour, cosmetics, fitness equipment, anti-aging skin treatment products, diet and weight loss methods, hair removal products, teeth whitening products.
How can bullying continue in to adulthood? (examples)
Workplace bullying, bullying professional sports and politics, road rage, political propaganda as news, cyberbullying, posting humiliating images and videos on the internet.
How is “cool” defined?
Is defined in terms of what is socially acceptable within a peer group
How are peer groups bonded?
By their common interests. They have a shared sense of identity, like their interests, preferences in entertainment, food, clothing, etc.
What are the two types of peer pressure?

What is positive peer pressure?
Peer pressure is good for self-development, for example, facing pressure from family and friends to avoid alcohol or drugs, or eat healthier food.
What is negative peer pressure?
Peer pressure involves risky behaviour that may be harmful to oneself and to others. This risky behaviour is seen as being “cool” by some peer groups
