Eg- in 2011 snap introduced free prescriptions when they used to cost around £10per item, the in 2015 labour lost their trademark of “safe seats” to the snp such as Glasgow north east.

Uk conservatives pledged to cut public spending in order to reduce the uk’s budget deficit. This meant less money for school hospitals etc as Scotland receives some of its funds from west minister uk Gov so snp didn’t have the budget to introduce their socially progressive ideas.
Eg- in 2017 the snp lost 1.7% of seats from 2015.
