1. It is a time efficient way of collecting a lot of data, study might only take a few weeks to complete and for results to be analysed therefore reduces chances of extraneous variables interfering.
2. Similar cultural influences as all done in nome moment in time
3. useful for conducting pilot study to see whether a study is feasible. hence before running a large scale study.
