25 - 49 every 3 years

What happens at colposcopy?
Every patient gets a biopsy taken to confirm diagnosis of certain types of CIN.
WHen is intervention done at colposcopy?
Only if CIN 2 or CIN 3
LLETZ or cold coagulation.
Squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix is caused by what numbers of HPV?
16 and 18.
Stage 1 to 4 cervical cancer?
1) confined to cervix
2) extends beyond the cervix into vagina but not into lower 1/3
3) Tumour invades lower 1/3 and/or extends to pelvis side wall.
4) Bladdwer, rectum or distant mets.
Management of stage 2b - 4/
XRT +/- chemo
