Name: Shào refers to Heart Shào Yīn channel that connects to this point. Shào also refers to the little finger where the point is located. Zé refers to low place where water collects as this is a Jǐng Well point. Zé also relates to moistening the heart fire.
Location: On the ulnar side of the little finger, about 0.1 cun proximal to the base of the nail, at the intersection of two lines following the ulnar border and the base of the nail.

Location: With a loose fist, the point is found at the end of the distal transverse palmar crease in the depression between the flesh and bone, just proximal to the head of the fifth metacarpal bone.

Name: The three points across the Yáng side of the wrist are Yáng Ravine (LI-5), Yáng Pool (TB-4), and Yáng Valley (SI-5) SI-5 is located in a hollow that is less deep than a ravine and less wide than a pool but it's in a depression like a small valley.
Location: On the ulnar border of the wrist, in the depression of the wrist joint space between the ulna and the triquetral bone, slightly anterior to the styloid process of the ulna. On the transverse wrist crease formed when the wrist is flexed in an ulnar direction.

Name: In one’s later years the wrist joints are aoften afflicted with stiffness and pain. SI-6 can be used to prevent or cure this ailment and variety of others problems associated with old age such as lower back pain, shoulder pain, poor eyesight and deafness; for this reason it is the Nursing the Aged.
Location: In narrow cleft just proximal from the posterior aspect of the head of ulna, between the extensor digiti minimi and extensor carpi ulnaris tendons.
