Location: in depression anterior to the medial epicondyle of the humerus near the medial end of the transverse cubical crease. Situated in the pronator teres muscle and the deeper the brachialis muscle.

Functions: Clears Heat. Transforms Phlegm. Soothes the Heart.

Location: On the radial side of the tendon of the flexor carpi ulnaris, 1.5 proximal to HE-7 on the transverse wrist crease. In the depression between the flexor carpi ulnaris and the flexor digitorum superficialis. The pronator quadratus is situated in its deep position. HE-4 is level with LU-7.

Location: On the palm, in the depression between the fourth and fifth metacarpal bones, proximal to the distal transverse palmar crease known as the “heart line.” The tip of the little finger touches this point when a fist is made.
