On a lose fist with the metacarpals in one line. Specially important when needling deeply towards the opposite side of the hand

Ask the patient to lie with their arm by their side( palm on the table) then place your finger on the high point of the ulnar styloid and ask the patient to place their palm on their chest, the point is found in the cleft where the practitioners finger then rests. Then needle

This point should be needled and located with the patient laying on their back and with their arm either on the supine position or resting on the chest.
