  • experiments are conducted in strict environments therefore can be generalised to all

Limitation

A
  • spontaneous behaviour isn’t explained
  • some behaviour are innate and aren’t learned through experience
  • most studies are laboratory therefore low ecological validity as the method is experimental therefore rarely relate to real life situations
