Project management plan does what?
translates the charter into a plan
develop a formal, approved document that defines how the project is to be executed, monitored and controlled

Project plan steps:
- create a work breakdown structure (WBS)
- develop a schedule
- develop a budget
- develop staffing requirements
- determine how and what information you will track
- develop a communications plan
- develop a risk management plan
- determine how you will close out the project
Project scope is what?
the total of all work required to complete the project
Scope statement:
a document used to develop and confirm a common understanding of the project scope
