What is the different between a project and an operation.
Operations are permanent, mass produces, always the same with lower risk. Projects are a temporary activity used to create a unique product, they are inherently risky.
Define iterative
Broadly defined to begin with, refined as more info becomes known.
What are a few causes for projects?
Customers. Internal, government, regulatory or industry requirements.
What should you do before starting a project?
Identify stakeholders Determine requirements Determine deliverable Estimate needed resources Develop project charter Document risks
What are the parts of a project road map?

- deliverable, milestones, dependencies

What is rule number one of monitoring and control?
There will be variances. Figure out what an acceptable variance level is and stick to it.
What is the goal of monitoring and control?
Identify problems while they are still manageable to enable course corrections.
What steps should be taken after completing and project?
- Measure customer satisfaction
- Document lessons learned
- Provide improvement ideas

- Communicate with team members
What are the two kinds of motivations?
Intrinsic and Extrinsic
What is an intrinsic form of motivation? Provide examples.
Doing things that the person enjoys. Hobbies, passions and interests.
