Sku Flashcards
“-C000”
This head is used for all rings that are arriving at MTR as a complete ring. It is used for all finished rings regardless if they are cluster or solitaire. If we are receiving it as a finished ring from the vendor and their invoice includes gold, diamonds and labor as one total then we would use “-C000”.

Cluster:
Is represented as a style number (example 001, 002, 003). This number is a unique number assigned to the cluster peg head regardless which vendor its coming from. For every unique head it must have a new style number. If there is the same head in two separate diamond qualities, then it must be treated as two separate style numbers.
Solitaire
The minimum center stone required to be classified as a solitaire is 1/5 CT. The number for any solitaire head shows the minimum carat weight diamond that is required. So if the head is 029, this means the center diamond is at a minimum of .29 cts. Keep FTC Diamond tolerances in mind when creating skus.
