  • burrows (linear tunnel in which mite lives)
  • papules
  • blisters
  • nodules
  • intensely pruritic (most severe at night)

A

2 doses, each dose one week apart:

  • Malathion
  • Permethrin
  • boil wash clothes and sheets - VERY contagious

A

yeast infection causing flaky discoloured patches on chest and back.
- more common in hot , humid climates

what does pityriasis versicolour look like?

A
  • affects trunk, neck, arms
  • patches coppery brown, paler than surrounding skin or pink.
  • sometimes start scaly and brown then resolve through a non-scaly/white stage.
  • usually assymptomatic but can be mildly itchy/
