A
T1 - <1mm thick T2 - 1-2 mm thick T3 - 2-4 mm thick T4 - over 4 mm thick Ta - not ulcerated Tb - ulcerated M1a - mets to other parts of skin or lymph nodes M1b - mets in lung M1c - mets in other organs or melanoma is causing a high level of lactate dehydrogenase to be produced by the liver
