dermatofibrosarcoma treatment?
Due to its papillary projections this is best treated with wide local excision (2cm margins) OR a Moh’s procedure.
For sarcomas in general:
- Radiation if > 5 cm
- Chemo if high-grade, > 10 cm, OR > 5cm and liposarcoma or synovial
Tissue taken with Full Thickness Skin Graft
Epidermis and Dermis, subQ tissue should be removed from graft to allow better engraftment
