dermatofibrosarcoma treatment?

A

Due to its papillary projections this is best treated with wide local excision (2cm margins) OR a Moh’s procedure.

For sarcomas in general:

  • Radiation if > 5 cm
  • Chemo if high-grade, > 10 cm, OR > 5cm and liposarcoma or synovial
