What is the definition of an open skill ?
A skill that changes due to an unpredictable changing environment
What is a closed skill ?
Skill that happens in a predictable environment, performer has full control and can initiate action when ready
What is a fine motor skill?
A skill that requires little movement and greater precision
What is a gross motor skill ?
A skill that involves movement of larger parts of the body and less precision.
What is a self internally paced skill ?
A skill where the performer gets to control the speed the skill is performed at , the timing and the rate
What is an externally paced skill ?
A skill that doesn’t control the rate and speed often and involves the reaction of the performer

A skill that can easily be broken down into subroutines and routines
What is a high organised skill ?
A skill that is fastly paced and cannot be broken down into subroutines and routines
