What is the lower jaw called
Mandible. The strongest bone of the face holds the lower teeth in place.
The skull is composed of two parts what are they
The mandible and cranium. The cranium provides a protective cavity for the brain.
What flat bone is in the centre of the thorax (chest).
The sternum. It connects to the rib bones via cartilage and helps protect the heart and lungs.
What is your collar bone called
Clavicle. It’s the only bone in the body that lies horizontally.
What bone runs from your shoulder to your elbow.
Humerus. It’s said that that’s how your funny bone was introduced because it was associated with the humerus.
What bones are directly attached to the sternum.
The ribs. A human has 24 ribs(12 pairs) It’s purpose is to protect the lungs, heart and other internal organs of the thorax(chest)
