What is the cranium
Part of skull that encloses brain, made of 8 different bones, protects back of brain and supports your head
What is the mandible
Lower jaw or jawbone , largest strongest lowest bone in face. Forms lower jaw and holds lower teeth in place
What is clavicle
Collarbone is a long bone that serves as a strut between shoulder blade and sternum. 2 clavicles, left and right. Only bone to lie horizontally
What is scapula
Shoulder bone, shoulder blade, wing bone, blade bone
Connects humorous with clavicle
What is sternum
Breast bone long flat bone in centre of chest connects to the ribs via cartilage and forms the front rib cage
What is humorous
Long bone in upper arm located between elbow joint and shoulder. Elbow connects with ulna
What are ribs
Enclose and protect chest cavity. Made up of 12 paired rib bones(24)
What is Illium
Uppermost and largest part of the hip bone
What is radius
Radial bone, one of 2 large bones of the forearm
What is ulna
A long bone found in forearm stretching from elbow to the smallest finger
What is the sacrum
A shield shaped bony structure located at base of lumbar vertebrae and is connected to the pelvis
What is pubis
The pubic bone one of bones which make up the pelvis, is at the front in humans and below most other mammals. In women, the bone is covered by the urethral sponge
What are carpels
8 small bones that make up wrist
What is metacarpal
Long bones in hand connected to the carpels and also connected to the phalanges
What is phalanges
Bones that make the up the fingers of the hand and the toes of the foot. There are 56 in human body, 14 on each hand and foot
