A
Attach his ribs to sternum (coastal cartilage), covers the ends of some bones(Articular cartilage), and is the cartilage within growth plates(epiphyseal plates). Highly cartilage also provides a model for the formation of most of the bones in the body.

A weight bearing cartilage that withstands compression. It forms the intervertebral disc, the pubic symphysis(cartilage between bones of the pelvis), and cartilage pads of the knee joints.
