Diversion within NAT HLA
Try to contact ATC in order to revise clearance, if unable to continue flight prior clearance revision:

A

-Leave assigned route by turning atleast 30º L or R and fly an offset route of 5NM (LAT REV on PPOS)
-Aircraft shall fly a level that differs 500’ from those normally used
-Broadcast position and intentions on 121.5 or 123.45 as backup

  • Update winds in FMS
  • Set assigned MACH in FMS
  • Log on CPDLC according to OAC requirements
  • Evaluate potential enroute diversion airport(s) Wx/services
  • Obtain alternate airpots Wx
  • PF, use ETP page for continuous entry of most suitable airports, use PROG for bearing and distance
  • Check A/C systems Status/ETOPS significant systems
  • Verify next leg track and distance
    -HF/ SELCAL check(A/R)
