SATA Internacional Azores Airlines is approved by ANAC for LVO with the following minima:
-CAT IIB no DH;
-LVTO 125m RVR
S4 shall not use an aerodrome for LVO below a VISIBILITY of … unless LVP are in force
800m
LVO consists in operating an aircraft in low visibility conditions. The term LVO includes:
- Low Visibility Take-off (LVTO);
- Landing Category II (CAT II);
- Landing Category III (CAT III); and
- Low Visibility Taxi (LV Taxi)
EASA CAT II minimum DH and RVR
-DH NOT LESS THAN 100ft;
-RVR NOT LESS THAN 300m
EASA CAT III A minimum DH and RVR
-DH lower than 100ft;
-RVR NOT LESS THAN 200 m
EASA CAT III B minimum DH and RVR
-DH lower than 50ft or NO DH
-RVR NOT LESS than 75m

FAA CAT III B MINIMUM DH AND RVR
-NO DH or DH<50
-RVR NOT LESS THAN 150 ft (50m)
What is Decision Height?
Wheel height above the runway elevation by which a go-around must be initiated unless adequate visual reference has been established and the aircraft position and approach path have been assessed as satisfactory to continue the approach and landing in safety
-3 luzes consecutivas de TDZ,RCLL,REDL, combinação;
The Alert Height is evaluated during aircraft certification. It is set at … for A320/321
100ft RA
