All Red Stop (Shunting Signal)
Stop. Only pass if authorised by the prescribed verbal or written instruction.
Yellow on Shunt (Shunting Signal)
Proceed cautiously at low speed (not to exceed 25 kph). Points are correctly set, prepare to find the track occupied or obstructed, rail may be broken or displaced (refers only to three position).
Green on Shunt (Shunting Signal)
Proceed at low speed (not to exceed 25 kph). Points are correctly set, track is clear but suitable for low speed only, next signal in advance is at caution or clear.
Advanced Caution to Stop (Absolute Signal)
Proceed cautiously, being prepared to stop at the second signal ahead.
Normal Clear (Absolute Signal)
Proceed at normal speed, not exceeding the speed laid down for the locality and class of train.
Medium to Stop (Absolute Signal)
Proceed cautiously at medium speed, being prepared to stop at the next signal ahead.
Reduce to Medium (Absolute Signal)
Reduce speed, being prepared to pass the next signal ahead at medium speed.
Advance Caution to Medium (Absolute Signal)
Proceed cautiously, being prepared to pass the second signal ahead at medium speed.
Low Speed (Absolute Signal)
Proceed cautiously at low speed (not to exceed 25 kph). Points are correctly set, track may be occupied or obstructed, and be prepared to stop short of any obstruction.
All Red Stop (A) (Permissive Signal)
Stop. Wait 10 seconds, then proceed cautiously being prepared to stop short of any obstruction, be prepared to find track obstructed, rail may be broken or displaced, level crossing alarms may not be working, and signal classification changed from absolute to permissive.
Medium Clear (Absolute Signal)
Proceed at medium speed.
Caution to Stop (Absolute Signal)
Proceed cautiously, being prepared to stop at the next signal ahead.
