How do you reset the vigilance if it has sounded and activated the emergency brake?

Answer 3

Place the reverser in neutral, exit the cab for 50 seconds (or block ears) then push the ‘Deadman Reset’ on the back wall.

What happens when you turn on the ‘auxiliary brake’ switch?

Answer 4

The service brake and holding brake are deactivated. Train may roll so parking brake must be applied prior to turning on the Aux brake. Emergency on the TB still works. 40 km/h max
