Macgeohegan came to negotiate with Carew and Carew asked him to surrender, he refused and said he was just warning Carew of the dangers.

he responded by setting up areas on the beach to wrest their cannons and let of fire to the castle.
what happened once the rebels at dunboy surrendered?
the castle was destroyed so it could never be used again to resist english rule. - 58 of the surrenders were executed.

he pursued into Ulster with 3,000 men, Tyrone did not try to fight but used his knowledge of the land to hide.

on the coast of the Beara Peninsula on the south west coast of Ireland.
