What is a SID?
standard Instrument Departure
A designated IFR Departure route linking the aerodrome or specified runway of an aerodrome with a specified significant point, normally on a designated ATS route, at which the en route phase of flight commences….(ICAO)

What is an SDR?
Standard departure route
Est for IFR departures in excess of 5700kg, and all jet ac, to leave CAS in compliance with NPRsnand terrain clearance

T to the north
U to the south east
V to the south
Rwy26
W to the north
X to the east south east
Y to the south
Z to the west
What are the general restrictions for SDRs?
Pilot will adhere to the routes until leaving CAS unless otherwise instructed by ATC
Subject to free flow departures
Will climb to 3000’ WIA QNH
Speed limit 250kts
