I: Lat 1/3 clavicle, acromion, spine of scapula
Trapezius Action
UPPER: rotates scapula sup
MIDDLE: retracts scapula
LOWER: depress shoulder
UNI: flex, ipsilateral lat flex, contralateral rotation
Levator Scapula O/I
O: C1-C4 TVPs
I: sup part of scapula’s med border
Latissimus Dorsi O/I
O: SP’s of T6-T12, thoracolumbar fascia, iliac crest, ribs 8/9-12
I: Floor of the bicipital groove of humerus
Levator Scapula Action?
Action: Downward rotation of scapula. Elevates scapula
Latissimus Action?
Extension
Adduction
Med rotation
Teres Major O/I?
O:Post inf angle of scapula
I: Med lip of bicipital groove

Pec Major O/I

Clavicular head: Ant med 1/2 of clavicle
Sternocostal head: Ant sternum, sup 6 costal cartilages, aponeurosis of ex obliques
I: Lat lip of bicipital groove

Clavicular head: Flex shoulder
Sternocostal head: extends shoulder (from flexed position)

O: Ribs 3-5 near costal cartilages
