The complaint is
Trace the clavicle from lateral to medial and check for fractures
Vertical radiolucency indicates clavicle fx displacement is dead give away
Draw a horizon line through the middle of the distal end of the clavicle. Check to see if acromion falls well below the clavicle, if so
AC separation - refer to orthopedist
Go to top of coracoid process, slide out laterally to find the top of the glenoid fossa. Draw a horizontal line across the top of the fossa. Humeral head falls 25% or more below this line
