How do microwaves work?
Water molecules in your food start to vibrate in the microwave and that’s how to heats up your food.
Why would the surface of the earth not be hotter if the ozone layer did not block the Suns ultraviolet rays?
Because the ozone layer would be gone so the heat from the earth would leave so it wouldn’t become as hot as you might think.
Why should a mirror be as smooth as possible?
Because if the mirror’s reflection is not smooth, when light reflects it scatters all over the place other than bouncing back at you.
What produces a rainbow
When white light goes through water droplets the colors that make up the white light refract at different angles.
Main difference between diffraction and refraction
Refraction usually happens in the atmosphere where diffraction usually happens closer to the earths surface
