Since a bird’s lungs are small, and it’s flies st stilt uses of low oxygen, how does it obtain the great amount of oxygen it needs?

A

Air enters the nostrils to the lungs. Lungs have 9 extending air sacs that carry the oxygen to the hollow bones. The bird then stores the oxygen allowing it to have enough to survive high altitudes.

A

The bird is burning so many calories. It’s so much to handle because has to go find a a lot of food to maintain their energy.
