- 1938 Kinsey, begins his mostly sociological studies of human sexual behavior.
- 1947 Kinsey founds the “Institute for Sex Research” (today called Kinsey Institute) at Indiana University.
- 1948 Kinsey and his collaborators Wardell B.Pomeroy and Clyde E.Martin publish their first great study “Sexual Behavior in the Human Male”.
- 1953 Alfred C. Kinsey and his collaborators Wardell B.Pomeroy, Clyde E.Martin, and Paul H.Gebhard publish “Sexual Behavior in the Human Female”.
