What does ‘set back’ mean?
When a train is driven back in the direction from which it’s come; being driven from the leading cab
What does ‘propel/push’ mean?
To drive a train back the direction it has come; being driven from any cab OTHER than the leading cab
What is the maximum speed when propelling a train?
15km/h
Who is required when propelling a train, and what is their function?
A competent employee (aka a driver); they are to be the ‘eyes’ of the main driver

What extra steps are required when performing a setback move in the MURL?
A train authority must be obtained, and it must have the number of every intermediate home signal to be passed.
At each intermediate home signal, the driver must stop, check the signal number, cut out/raise the trip, and not exceed 15km/h when they proceed
What extra things does a driver need to consider when exiting the MURL after a setback move? (3)
Advise the Area Controller

Ensure there is a proceed aspect
