At the center of the Service Value System. An operating model that covers key activities to manage products and services.
Comprised of 6 Activities:
1) Plan
2) Improve
3) Engage
4) Design and Transition
5) Obtain and Build
6) Deliver and Support
Plan
Relevant planning activities at all levels:
1) strategic
2) architectural
3) program/project
Improve
Execution of improvement activities and provision of improvement information.
Engage
Interactions with 3rd parties, including:
1) users
2) customers
3) suppliers
4) other stakeholders
Design and Transition
Creation of new or changed solution designs. The management of an implementation of the change.
Obtain and Build
Acquisition of building of components (whether acquired from a third party or built in-house).
Deliver and Support
Hosting and delivery of solutions. Support for user’s needs related to the services.
